What is a hotel booking API?
A hotel booking API lets your product search live hotel availability, price it, and complete a real booking through another company's supplier connections. Your members book inside your product, and fulfillment happens behind it.
Where does the hotel supply come from?
Three sources feeding one search: direct contracts, bed bank supply, and channel manager supply. That mix is what gives both coverage and rate quality, rather than one at the expense of the other.
What are closed user group rates?
Rates a supplier allows to be shown only to a closed audience, such as members of a program, and never on an open booking site. They are what make a member rate hold up when someone compares it.
Do we have to source hotel content ourselves?
No. A dedicated content endpoint returns names, descriptions, images, amenities and location, so your product can display properties properly without a second data vendor.
Do we have to take other travel categories too?
No. Hotels can run on their own. Flights, car rental, activities, and vacation rentals use the same contract and connection whenever you want to add them.
